Claire Kammer is a seasoned strategist specializing in B2B software and services, with a deep background in customer-led innovation. With over 17 years at UL Solutions—a leader in applied safety science—she has expertly turned safety, security, and sustainability challenges into strategic opportunities for clients. Her expertise spans strategy development, market assessment, customer insights, and regulatory policy.

Claire is adept at demystifying complex markets and products, crafting clear strategies, and translating them into actionable roadmaps. Her passion for customer-driven innovation shines through her ability to develop effective go-to-market strategies, assemble and build skills within teams, and penetrate new markets.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS

As the Director of Market Development & Innovation for Software & Advisory Services at UL, Claire spearheaded portfolio expansion of the company’s compliance software division. She focused on enhancing products related to supply chain sustainability & stewardship, material and component sourcing, and carbon management solutions. Her strategic initiatives have significantly boosted profitability and fostered strategic growth in both B2B services and SAAS portfolios.  

 

In her previous role as Director of Global Accounts, Claire led commercial strategy for a book of top-tier clients, designing UL's go-to-market approach to align with the needs of the market.  This work built on her previous experience as Strategy Manager where she drove collaboration across the enterprise and streamlined strategies across the company's extensive portfolio. Additionally, she previously managed UL’s Global Government Affairs policy portfolio, advocating for safety and sustainability with global governments and trade groups, in addition to 5 years representing other organizations in state & federal policy.  This comprehensive experience ensures that Claire delivers well-rounded product and business strategies, deeply informed by an extensive understanding of global markets, customer needs, and the opportunity for business differentiation with evolving regulatory requirements.
